The Truth in Christ Jesus

By Lloyd Ellefson

Greetings everybody! We cannot know who God is unless He reveals Himself to us and tells us who He is. He gives us some aspects of what He does in Isaiah 45:7 and 54:16. He said, "I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things...Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings out a weapon for its work; and I have created the destroyer to ruin." He made the destroyer; He also created evil.

In John 10:10 Jesus said that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. He comes to steal, kill and destroy that which does not belong to him. The thief does not function in truth, and tries to destroy those who have truth. He operates in the lie - in delusion. A lie does not have foundation. Truth brings light and shows that evil has no truth. Evil is destroyed by truth, which is Christ. I believe truth is the most powerful thing there is! It is the bottom line of everything. It shall never go away; it does away with everything that comes up against it. Jesus Christ said, "I am the truth." He destroys the works of the devil, brings in the kingdom of God, puts an end to the Adamic man and puts an end to the old covenant. In Him we have our life and our understanding of God!

Jesus manifested the express image of God. Because of man's delusion and limited vision, he always looks at the man Jesus as an entity. He still sees Him as the man who once walked upon this earth - only now He is up in heaven in the same form He had while on earth. This delusion disappears when truth comes. Jesus did not have a body when He lived in eternity as the Son of God. He said, "A body hast Thou prepared for Me." (Heb. 10:5) The Son of God has the nature of God; there is no beginning nor end to God, there is no birth nor death in God. The Son of God can never leave God - He is always a part of God. He is not finite; He is without beginning and end; He is infinite! Our realization of self and humanity has to end because it has no eternity nor infinity. It's in corruption, termination and time.

When Jesus talked about giving us life, He spoke about aeonial life. This has been translated as eternal life. There is only one life, and that is from God. God's life can never be separated from Him because separation from God is death. Our carnal minds cannot think the thoughts of God. Therefore we think of ourselves as being separated from God. We cannot conceive what God has for us; our minds are not capable of that. The natural mind is death and therefore cannot enjoy the life that comes from God. God does not give us jurisdiction over the life He gives us. If He did, we would be entities that could sustain themselves. The only way we can live eternally, is to be joined to the One who lives forever and in whom there is no death! That is much better than a lot of years in this life!

Referring to Jesus it says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...In Him was life; and the life was the light of man...And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." (Jn. 1:1,4,14) He was the Son of God who came out of God. The Word came and took on flesh, and man could see what Jesus was doing. However, they could not see the true essence of His being. People still view the things He did from their own perspective which is in the death realm.

Jesus truly was God manifested in the flesh. He was God's Son operating in the likeness of sinful flesh. (Rom. 8:3) People did not have any realization of who God is. Although they saw things that God was doing, they did not understand God's nature, who He was, nor who they really were. They were devoid of this truth! Israel had been chosen to demonstrate the kingdom of God but they failed miserably, for they were unable to keep the law. They were always retrogressing - worshiping other gods, getting into trouble with the nations and with God.

Since the Jews did not know God, they did not like it when Jesus called God His Father. Jesus said, "But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father who sent Me, He has borne witness of Me. You have never heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form." (John 5:36-37) The Jews did not agree with that. However Jesus was not only saying that to Israel. God does not do things in a corner; what Jesus was saying to Israel applies to everyone. God sent Christ to undo the lies of the whole world system.

Jesus had an interesting conversation with His disciples in Matt. 16. He asked, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" There were mixed feelings on that. Some said, "John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." Then Jesus asked, "Who do you say that I am?" And Peter replied, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus said, "Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, Peter, but My Father which is in heaven."

When Peter received this revelation he was not yet baptized in the Holy Spirit, for He had not yet been poured out. So Peter did not receive this revelation spiritually. This soon became evident. While Peter was warming himself by the fire after Jesus had been arrested, a maid accused him of being a disciple of Jesus. He was quite upset, cursed and said, "I don't know the man." How could Peter say that he didn't know Jesus, having been with Him for three years and having received the revelation that Jesus was the Son of the living God? Had he received this revelation spiritually, it would have changed him, for God's word is creative. But Peter received the revelation in his natural mind just like the people in the Old Testament heard God, but did not hear Him spiritually; there was no quickening spiritual realization to make it alive so it wouldn't die in their actions the next day. Israel was proud of its history; they thought they were great because they had Moses and the miracle of crossing the Red Sea, etc. Yet they had never heard His word nor His voice!

Furthermore Jesus said, "And you do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent." Remember, Jesus was speaking to God's chosen people. He was sent to them, yet they didn't believe; they were still functioning in their natural minds. Then Jesus said, "You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me." (Jn. 5:39) They had the scriptures, but there is no life in them. Jesus came to give life. (Jn. 10:10) Jesus did not call their physical existence and natural understanding life. People believed they had life, but they didn't, because so-called life is just a temporal consciousness and round of activity. Jesus was speaking of eternal life and the Jews did not realize that natural understanding is not life. Because they thought they had life, they refused to come to Him to receive the life only He could give! The scriptures testified of Him but the people refused to come to Him. They rejected Him and the idea that they needed life.

Life can only come to us in Christ - not in externals. We must come to Christ to receive this life. It comes into our consciousness and can only be made real to us spiritually. This reality is beyond natural comprehension. Hearing testimonies of this life does not give it to us. Even though life in Christ is a universal promise, every individual must allow the Spirit of Christ to come to him and teach him to hear things beyond the natural. Only then can he have the reality of it. His spirit within him has to be quickened so he can hear. Israel had never heard the voice of God; they hadn't seen His shape, His word was not abiding in them and they didn't believe the One He sent. They thought their life was in the scriptures, but it wasn't!

Jesus said, "I don't receive honor from men." (Jn. 5:41) God does not receive worship and honor from the natural man and neither does Jesus. Pretending to be people of God, doesn't bring us into reality. Jesus came in His Father's name, and the Jews did not receive Him. Jesus said that if another would come in his own name, they would receive him. (v.43) Why? Because their knowledge of God was on the same level of ignorance. Once we understand who God is, we will understand how we can have life; the only way we can ever have life is in being one with God! Everything that happens to us even now - all our movement and form - comes from God. If we are only conscious of the effect, the form and the body, we have not yet come into the realization of life. Only after we get beyond the natural, can we understand things in a new spiritual realm.

"But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves." (v.42) Israel thought it loved God, but it didn't! Jesus said, "How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another.." (v.44) Do we receive glory from one another in our churches? Do pastors, bishops, evangelists, and leaders receive glory when they make their living off the sheep, wear special attire, etc. This should not be. Reference to achievements as a mark of self-attainment, brings glory to that person. We are not to receive that glory! God doesn't make bishops in any church. All ministry is to come out of Christ, because He is the Mediator. Since we are ministers of Christ, we cannot take any honor to ourselves. God has called us to evangelize and care for the flock of God; these are assignments - not attainments on our part!

"Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me." (v.45-46) What an insult to be told that they didn't even believe Moses! They were so proud of Moses and the covenant he brought them. They did not realize that the law was a spiritual message to show us our sins. It teaches us that the natural man lives in death and estrangement from God, and is unable to do the things God asks of him.

"But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?...I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (Jn. 5:47; 14:6) The only way we can find God is through truth and life; there is no other way to God. Truth was a very disturbing thing to the Jews even as it is to most people today! Expressing spiritual realities usually gets us into trouble because natural man does not understand spiritual truth.

1 Cor. 2:14 says that the natural (soulish, Adamic) man does not receive the things of the Spirit. They don't mean anything to him. He doesn't understand when we testify to spiritual realization. He needs to hear the spiritual message of the law before he can come to Christ. If the people had believed Moses, they would have believed Jesus. They learned about Moses, but they didn't believe him; so they refused to come to Jesus. Understanding this is the groundwork for receiving truth. If you want truth, you want Christ, for He is the truth! Truth must be received in your inward parts.

You cannot have truth and abide in the natural man at the same time. Truth is unseen and comes to us in a realization; then it produces a testimony. When we perceive Christ, the Spirit of truth, we have to receive Him within ourselves spiritually; He is not a physical being, for anything in the seen realm is temporal. That is why the body of Jesus was only a sign. He took on the likeness of our sinful flesh. The flesh is called a veil (Hebrews 10), and it veiled who He really was. Beyond the flesh was the Spirit of the Son; He was sent by God, He came from the Father, and the fulness of the Godhead dwelt bodily in Him. It doesn't mean it dwelt in Jesus' body, but it means that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit who is the Christ, dwelt in the man Jesus as one spiritual body. God cannot be divided!

Jesus Christ was an expression of God. He had to become flesh that we might see Him, hear Him and pay attention to Him. Had He come as a spirit, man would have remained totally helpless and without understanding. The Spirit of truth resided in the man Jesus. This is very important for without Him none of us could hear or understand God, nor could we understand who we are. This was demonstrated in Israel, and it is no different today. It applies to everyone, Jew or Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised.

Jesus came to testify to the truth. He said, "Everyone who is of the truth will hear My voice." That's interesting, isn't it? If you want truth, it will put your deceived natural identity to death. The I, the ME (the self-life) that wants glory from people, will be destroyed by the truth in Jesus Christ. Desire for honor comes in various hidden religious forms; also through education, success and power. Truth only destroys that which is of the lie - not that which has substance. It destroys our erroneous conceptions - that which has been conceived of the lie. God deals with man's sin, ignorance and lack of the true knowledge of God, by bringing truth.

In John 8 the Jews had an argument with Jesus. In the course of their conversation they talked about being free. Jesus told them that the truth would make them free. They declared that they were Abraham's offspring and were free. Jesus agreed that they had Abraham as their father in the natural, but they did not have his spirit; they did not have his nature. He said, "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from His own nature; for he is a liar and the father of lies." (v.44) Satan had fathered the thoughts they thought were truth - the thoughts they were using against Jesus. But they were actually lies, for they had been birthed out of a lie.

Our temporal body veils who we truly are, for our body of flesh is not our true self. That is why Jesus said, "Don't call anyone on earth your father." The flesh is formed out of this earth, and it goes back to dust. It will never become eternal; since it is corrupt it can never put on incorruption. God said, "For you are dust, and to dust you shall return. (Gen. 3:19) The natural man equates himself with his body and his feelings, and often wants to express himself by the way he dresses. That is who he thinks he is; that is the consciousness of the Adam man! But Jesus showed us that the body is not eternal. He received a body of flesh, and people killed that body. But He appeared again in a form - not in His spiritual essence - to show them that life is beyond the physical body.

Jesus is the life and He came to give us life. Life has no beginning and no ending and is therefore eternal. Since God is life and He is omnipresent, life must also be omnipresent! The God who was in Israel is also here. This is the God we want to know! When we get life we become conscious of it even though we may not understand it. Many have a hard time relating to the concept of God's omnipresence when they see all the evil in this world. They wonder why He doesn't do something to stop wars, rape, etc., if He is omnipresent. Actually He has done what is needed by giving us Christ, but people won't receive Him. If people insist on going their own way, they will remain in the confusion of their natural minds. In Jesus Christ we get out of this confusion, because God becomes our consciousness. That is the way we get to know God! He arrives in our consciousness through a spiritual word.

We are to hear the voice of the Son of God. In Revelation 3:20 it says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice...I will come to him..." If you can hear the voice of the Son of God you will live. (Jn. 5:25) That voice will create in us a new sense of being. AS WE PROGRESS IN HEARING THE HOLY SPIRIT - LISTENING AND SUBMITTING TO HIM - OUR OLD MAN CEASES TO BE LORD OVER US, AND THE CHRIST BECOMES OUR LIFE! Since evil comes into this world through people, it ceases when Christ becomes our Lord!

The Christ is the anointing, the Word of God. During the time Jesus lived under the law, He never did any miracles and no one ever bothered Him. But at the Jordan River He received the Holy Spirit, and God said, "This is My Son." (Luke 3). Jesus received the Spirit of Sonship (the Spirit of being His Son) into His heart. This experience brought a new government into His life, and He was now governed by the Spirit. This is when He began His ministry. Physically we are not like the physical Jesus, but we are all members of Christ's spiritual body. It says, "You are Christ's body, and individually members of it." (1 Cor. 12:27) It says CHRIST'S body - not JESUS' body. We are the formation of spiritual truth, which is the body of Christ.

In John 8:44 it says there is no truth in satan! None at all! He is the father of all those who believe and receive his lies. When Jesus came, He said, "I am the truth." Because He operated in the truth, the people opposed Him. So the lie opposed the truth. Satan opposed God. God doesn't have a physical body nor physical sons, and neither does satan. Both operate through our flesh as long as we live in this world.

The Jews were seeking to kill Jesus. (Jn. 7:1; Mk.11:18) A number of times Jesus asked, "Why do you seek to kill Me?" (Jn. 7:19;8:37) The fact that the Jews wanted to kill Jesus became well-known. People would ask, "Is this the one that they want to kill?" So we see that the crucifixion of Jesus was already in men's hearts before they put Him on the cross. It was an ongoing desire in the hearts of men, and it found its expression at the crucifixion of Jesus.

Let's look at who caused the death of Jesus. God did not kill Jesus. Man did, but he did it in ignorance because he was ruled by satan. "If they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (1 Cor. 2:8) It was satan who put it in the heart of Judas to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that mankind (fathered by lies), wanted to put the truth to death because it infringed on their authority and idea of God. They thought this could be accomplished by killing the physical body of Jesus. Their ideas were fathered by the lie. The battle between the lie and the truth is called the battle of Armageddon. It does not take place in the natural but in the spiritual realm.

Jesus said, "For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." (John 18:37) From this we conclude that the people who do not want to hear God are not of the truth. Jesus said, "Thy word is truth." (John 17:17) And John 1:17 says, "Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." Grace and truth did not come by Moses and the law. That first covenant which God made with man was conditional, for He said, "If you do these things." Since man broke the covenant, God is not responsible to fulfill the Old Testament covenant. Moses was only a man so he could not give us a covenant, whereas Jesus Christ being the Son of God, could. This covenant was much greater and could not be broken; it is one that will bear fruit! The presence of God in man will perform it! Man just has to hear and obey the voice of God.

"Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and be given to a nation producing the fruit of it." (Matt. 21:43) The kingdom will be taken away from natural Israel, for it did not produce kingdom fruit. It will be given to a spiritual nation producing spiritual fruit. The kingdom of God has nothing natural in it - only spiritual things. Israel was given a law which was a form of knowledge and truth. The law was not really a revelation of God, but a revelation of human nature. It showed us our sin and brought us condemnation, for through the law is the knowledge of sin.

That is not the covenant we have in Jesus Christ! In Him there is no condemnation! God was in Christ when He walked in Israel. Jesus said, "It is not Me, but the Father in Me, He does the works." So God was in Him. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself - not to Jesus, but to Himself. Jesus is the one who brings reconciliation because He is the Spirit who comes to us; He tells us in our hearts that God has nothing against us. Our ignorance has caused us to believe satan's lies and we have received a wrong idea of God. Jesus Christ, the truth, came to correct this with spiritual truth. When spiritual truth comes to us by the Spirit, it undoes the lies and the work of the devil, and the devil himself is undone.

Since a lie does not have substance, it has nothing to sustain or support it. Truth throws light on the lie and shows that it is nothing, and the lie is undone; it is gone - it has no effect anymore. So when Jesus Christ, the truth, comes to us and we accept it, the dimensions and depth of those lies gradually disappear and we realize that we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. When the Holy Spirit comes to us, we cry, "Abba! Father!" (Rom. 8:15; Gal. 4:6) This is the witness of the Holy Spirit and we can pray OUR FATHER as Jesus taught us. Our new understanding causes us to recognize that we are no longer sinners nor fleshly people. We are spiritual sons of God! The self and flesh provide access for satan to tempt us and take truth away from us and make this difficult to comprehend.

Once we have received truth, we can build on it and the power of God keeps us. Eventually the lies become fewer, the deception becomes less, and the truth becomes our lord. We learn that we have been created new creatures in Christ Jesus, and all things have become new! Truth brings new light and a new realization of God, of the Son of God (the Christ), His rule of man, of who we are, and of disease and poverty, etc. This knowledge cannot be obtained through education nor by becoming a big shot. We just need the presence of God! In His presence there is fulness of joy forevermore!

The carnal mind is an enemy of God. It cannot be educated and trained in spiritual knowledge. It becomes proud when it is filled with knowledge, and it puts its trust in knowledge. Many are so sure their human understanding is right that they won't listen to the Spirit. The Jews, in the time of Jesus, were so sure they were right that they opposed Him in spite of the miracles He performed. It was in their hearts to kill Him long before they put Him on the cross, but they were afraid of the crowds. However, if they had had their way, they would have killed Him earlier. God knew this was going to happen to His Son, but He also knew that they could never kill the Son, for they could never kill the Spirit! They could only kill the form, the flesh in which He dwelt - which is bad enough!

"For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died." (2 Cor. 5:14) Since Jesus died for all men, all died. If we don't understand that it was through death that Jesus destroyed the lies and the works of the devil, that scripture will puzzle us. Death came as a result of believing the lie. Therefore, in order for death to be destroyed, the lie had to be exposed and rendered of no effect. Christ destroyed it by destroying him who had the power of death; this came about through truth - the Spirit of truth.

Men, motivated by satan, the prince of the power of the darkness of this world, were used as pawns to get rid of the man Jesus. People were taught to hate Christ. They "walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience." (Eph. 2:2) They were disobedient to God; they obeyed satan and killed Jesus. As far as they were concerned, they were killing a man who acted contrary to all the things they believed; they didn't know whom they were killing.

Jesus participated in the same death that we do. Every man who is not in Christ is dead in Adam, because the penalty for sin is death - not hell! Anyone who has participated in sin has the penalty of death in him; this is his state of being at the present time. Death is a state of existence, not a place of punishment to be experienced in the future. Israel was walking in death. When Jesus said, "I am the life," the Jews argued with Him because they were speaking from the death realm. Death is separation from the understanding, knowledge and relationship with God. Death does not just refer to the termination of the physical body; it is proof of the finite, temporal existence of things.

It took me a long time to grasp this, but I now understand that Jesus, in the form of man, allowed satan to kill Him through man. Man put Him on the cross, yet through His death He overpowered satan! When He came out of the grave, He proved that His life could not be kept in the grave. His life was not dependent on the physical form! People have a hard time believing that His physical form was put away, since He appeared to the disciples and many others after His resurrection in a physical form. The disciples could see Him, and Jesus said, "It is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have." He came back into this realm in a visible appearance, but the real spiritual body of Jesus is unseen.

Jesus entered into our penalty of death and overthrew it. He didn't die as our substitute! What good would it do if He had? That would not change us, would it? He died as us! We were crucified together with Him and we were raised together with Him! He first identified with us, and now we identify with Him. He is our identification! This can only take place by receiving His Spirit. His Spirit gives us His life and brings us into oneness with Him, so we can cry "Abba! Father!". Jesus Christ was the resurrection before He went to the grave. (John 11) He knew that He could lay His life down and take it up again. He knew that on the cross, as a man, He would be separated from God in His consciousness and His body would die. By the faith of God, He also knew that He would not remain in death, but would rise up again! This proves that the penalty of death is not eternal. Truth brings us life; the lie brings us death. When the lie is done away with, death is done away with. There is no death in God nor in Jesus Christ. Jesus destroyed him who had the power of death, which is satan the father of lies. When the lie is removed, the penalty is also removed!

Christ's work is poles apart from the things preached by ecclesiastical systems. They say you are a sinner saved by grace, that you go to heaven after you die, and if you don't, you will go to hell and fry forever. These are lies concocted by satan. Hell means UNSEEN or UNPERCEIVED; there is no perception of God. People who are lacking in their perception of God are living in hell in this world right now. The consequences of living in ignorance with no perception of God, causes the problems we have in this world. That is why we get disease, evil, poverty, and wars.

God has promised to meet all your needs according to the mercy and love of God in Christ Jesus. Regardless of where you live and what your needs are, God can take care of you! This supply refers to spiritual needs, because the things of God are spiritual - not natural. He also supplies the natural, as was evidenced by the feeding of the five thousand. If you have God, all your spiritual needs are met!

He is the one true witness (Rev. 14) and we become the temple or tabernacle of God - a tabernacle of witness. It witnesses the presence of God; He is the fulfillment of the types in the Old Testament. If we don't love the truth, we'll get delusions. (2. Thess. 2:10-11) God is not sitting up there saying, "If you don't love the truth I will give you delusion." Loving Christ does not mean loving the physical appearance of a man - no matter how appealing that may be. We no longer see Jesus, nor anyone else, according to the flesh. But we reap what we sow. If you don't love the truth and sow to your own thinking, you will reap the fruit of wrong thinking. Loving truth is the same as loving Christ, for He is the truth!

Eph. 1:10: "With a view to an administration suitable to the fulness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things upon the earth." Paul wrote about the fulness of the times. Jesus came preaching, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." (Mk. 1:15) We are all familiar with time. We are born into natural time. But the true measure of time is light, as we see in Genesis 1. Light makes the day. Time is light, and light is enlightenment. The light in Genesis 1:3 is different from the light in Genesis 1:14, because the sun, moon and stars were created long after God said, "Let there be light." This light is the light in Jesus which is the knowledge of God.

What does it mean by "the time is fulfilled"? Time can be fulfilled. Do you think there is any time in the infinite Christ or God? God is not subject to time - He never gets old! He does not have to do things according to time; He does things by His word! Time is fulfilled in Christ, because there is no death in Him. When we are put into Christ, we are put into Him who does not have days, years, nor time. His life does not have any death in it. It cannot die; it has no beginning and no end!

The "summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things upon the earth" cannot be taken literally. How can God gather everything in the heavens - the sun, moon, stars, rain clouds, etc., and all the things on earth - mountains, streams, bugs, animals, etc. - into Jesus Christ? If He is a physical man, how are all these things going to get into Him? Do you see how ludicrous it is to see things in the natural? We know that Jesus said, "I am the truth." Everything that appears in this world, in the heavens or in the earth, can be gathered into truth. They can be seen in their true context or perspective, in the true realization of what they really are. That is what it means to have all things gathered into Christ!

Christ is the unseen Spirit who came upon the man Jesus at the Jordan, and caused Him to begin a life that was governed by the Spirit of God instead of by the law. The old man dies in Christ. Jesus came forth as the Christ; He is the new man, the last Adam and a new image of God. After that Jesus Christ began to preach and testify to spiritual things. That's when His troubles began, especially from the religious establishment of the day. The elders, chief priests, scribes, Sadducees and Pharisees were His greatest opponents! The Pharisees, who weren't even priests, really opposed Him, even to the extent of accusing Him of casting out evil spirits by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons. They acted as if they were the only ones who knew God.

This is what the religious system today is also doing. They have a physical Jesus, a geographical heaven, and an eternal hell. They are totally misrepresenting the God of love who has expressed Himself perfectly in Christ Jesus. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them. (2 Cor. 5:19) Then in John 5:45 Jesus said that He will not accuse us before the Father. He does not condemn us! To the woman caught in adultery, Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go your way; from now on sin no more."

We have been living under a religious organization of ignorance that is actually anti-God and anti-Christ. Yet people are saying they are pro the physical Jesus. They sing about their great love for Him, they keep the Christmas and Easter holidays for Him, but they do not receive Him who is the Spirit of truth! They don't seem to know that the Adamic man is not going to be redeemed. They don't even realize that He would destroy the ego (the I, the Me), the old Adamic man. We are redeemed out of that old man! He was crucified with Christ; our old man died with Him! We have become new creatures in Christ through the coming of the Holy Spirit. He has quickened our conscience and we begin to understand who we are in Christ. This is just the beginning of the realization and sense of being that we have in Christ Jesus.

In our growth in revelation knowledge of the Christ, we have to encounter the temptations and the constant barrage of lies that are in the devil and the religious systems of the world. Since Christ's kingdom is not of this world, He is not changing this world system. He is changing you and me individually! This happens when we allow Him to come into OUR temple. When He stands at the door and knocks, He wants to come into our consciousness, our spirit. The lies that we have been living in are exposed by the truth of the Spirit. In Adam ALL die; in Christ ALL are made alive! So when the Holy Spirit comes to us we cry, "Abba! Father!" Consider what I say and may the Lord give you understanding. Amen.
